My Bio
First let me start out by saying I am not affiliated, or a member of neither the Lucky Cat Tattoo in NYC, the Lucky Cat Tattoo in LA, or any other Lucky Cat Tattoo that may spring up. Our shop name is Ink Addiction Tattoo Studio. L-C-T was chosen for for my name on a whim and a joke. I apologize for any confusion.
That being said...
So, my name is Hori Kurisu, or Chris if you would rather not try to sound that out. I am currently the co-owner of Lucky Cat Tattoo in Misawa Japan with my friend and fellow artist Hori Harisu, or Brian. We are a custom, appointment only shop, and work based on client referral and word of mouth as opposed to a street shop.
This page is my attempt to start spreading my half of the artist wealth, so to speak, and tattoo work that is coming from an all American tattoo shop in Japan. All posts will be of either commissioned ideas, or ideas that have already started going into the skin. I will put a description of the idea around each piece that I post up, and when the tattoos of each are finished, I will post them as well.
I thank you for taking the time to stop by and check out my work, you honor me greatly. Just remember to keep watching for new work as I am able to churn it out (hectic schedule, I also hold a full time job that eats up over half of every month, but everyone has bills to pay) At that I will leave you with a word of advice.

Back and Safe

So after dealing with the earthquake, and the tsunami, the loss of power, and time to work, we in Misawa have finally gotten back on our own feet enough to help others. This journal entry should have been 3 days ago, but better late than never. Currently going to Hachinoe every day and helping the port authority clean up their buildings. It is the closest, and least that I am capable of doing, as our unit will not allow us to travel to the shattered coastline and help. Instead we will do what we can, as everyone has been effected by this tragedy.

Thanks a ton, I dig your work as well. It kinda sucks over here, but has been getting better. Recently it has been business as usual for us, but we were sucking fr a bit there. I got alot of bigger projects going on right now, and I try to only post finished stuff anymore. Just too much hassle constantly updating everything. Stay tuned.
